Barilla Pasta Packaging + Print Campaign, 2009
One of the key goals with this project was to make Barilla's entire line of pasta stand out from all other "blue box" competitors. This was achieved by removing the majority of the blue, yet keeping just enough so the familiar assocation of the red logo on a blue background remains. To help differentiate more clearly between pastas, the viewing window changes accordingly, illustrating the specific type of pasta inside. All ink used is soy based and printed on 100% recycled cardboard.
